FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?


Cancellations are permitted until 48 hours prior to your booking check-in time of 2:00pm on the day of your scheduled arrival.




WHAT TIME IS CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT?


Check in starts from 2:00pm and check out is 10am. Upon request, a late check out may be arranged depending on availability.




DO YOU OFFER AFTER-HOURS CHECK IN?


Yes, we do allow access for late check in. Please request this at the time of your booking, or once travel arrangements have been confirmed. Instructions and details of your after hours check in procedure will be supplied on the day of your arrival.




WHAT ARE THE RECEPTION HOURS?


Due to COVID-19, Reception at Hotel Collins is currently operating on reduced hours. We do however have an on-site manager who resided in the building should you need assistance.




HOW AND WHEN DO I MAKE PAYMENT?


Payment is taken from the card provided the day prior to your arrival. We accept Eftpos, Visa or Mastercard (1.5% surcharge) or American Express (3% surcharge).




DO I NEED TO PROVIDE A DEPOSIT?


A refundable damage deposit of $200 is required on arrival. This will be collected via credit card. Provided the room is undamaged upon check out, you will then be reimbursed within 14 days. Your deposit will be refunded in full subject to apartment inspection.




HOW DO I GET TO HOTEL COLLINS FROM TULLAMARINE AIRPORT?


We recommend the Sky Bus shuttle or taxi/Uber. Please visit the ‘Location’ page on our website for more information.




DO YOU HAVE A CARPARK?


Although we do not have an on-site car park, we are proudly partnered with Wilson Parking in Flinders Lane to offer a significantly discounted daily rate for our guests ($17 per 24 hours or per exit). For specific instructions regarding how and where to park, please request at the time of booking or email info@hotelcollinsmelbourne.com.au During your stay, reception will be able to provide you with the relevant vouchers.




DO YOU HAVE A GUEST LAUNDRY?


Yes, there is a laundry on-site which is complimentary for all guests. This can be found on Level one.




DO YOU HAVE WIFI?


Yes, wifi is complimentary and available in all rooms.




DO THE APARTMENTS HAVE BATHTUBS?


All apartments are fitted with walk-in showers only.




IS SMOKING PERMITTED?


Hotel Collins has a strict no-smoking policy in all rooms.




DO YOU HAVE APARTMENTS WITH SINGLE BEDS?


Yes, all rooms can be fitted with single beds as opposed to queen/king on request. Please notify the team at the time of your booking should you require an alternative setup.




DO YOU OFFER COTS OR ADDITIONAL BEDS?


Cots and extra beds are available upon request. Please advise at the time of booking or prior to your arrival if you require an alternative setup. The cost for a cot is $5/night and $45/night for a rollaway bed. Please note these additional items are not calculated in your booking price and will need to be paid for separately during your stay. The number of beds/cots available is dependent on your room type and availability.




WHAT ARE THE AGE RESTRICTIONS AT HOTEL COLLINS?


The minimum age of check in is 18 years old. Guests are required to show photo identification and a credit card upon check in at the time of arrival.
